The house was built in 1951 and was sold to the Clintons for $2.85 million – $650,000 below the asking price. Though the seven bedroom, five bathroom property is a family home, it is primarily used by Hillary, who wrote her 2014 memoir Hard Choices at the house. Still, Clinton didn't sell the couple's initial property right away. It actually wasn't until 2016 that they decided to list the apartment and, in 18 short days, it sold for just under $6 million. We don't know for sure if Clinton will always reside in New York City or if, perhaps, her journey will see her back in the White House, but we know that she has a fondness for life in the Flatiron District.
